വേണാട്ടുരാജവംശത്തിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു പേര്. ക്രിസ്ത്വബ്ദം ആദിശതകങ്ങളില് ഒന്നായിക്കിടന്ന പ്രാചീനകേരളം 10-ാം ശതാബ്ദമായപ്പോഴേക്കും മൂഷികം, കേരളം, കൂപകം എന്ന് മൂന്നായി പിരിഞ്ഞു കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. വേണാട് എന്ന പേര് പ്രാമാണ്യവും പ്രസിദ്ധിയും ആര്ജിച്ചതോടുകൂടി കൂപകം എന്ന പേര് ലുപ്തപ്രചാരമായി. നോ. വേണാട്ടുരാജവംശം
