സര്‍വ്വവിജ്ഞാനകോശം സംരംഭത്തില്‍ നിന്ന്
അഥാനാഗില്‍ഡ് (? - 547)
സ്പാനിഷ് വിസിഗോത്തുവര്‍ഗക്കാരുടെ പതിനാലാമത്തെ രാജാവ്. അഥാനാഗില്‍ഡ് പൌരസ്ത്യ റോമാചക്രവര്‍ത്തിയായിരുന്ന ജസ്റ്റീനിയന്റെ (483-565) സഹായത്തോടെ തന്റെ മുന്‍ഗാമിയായിരുന്ന അജിലയെ യുദ്ധത്തില്‍ തോല്പിച്ച് എ.ഡി. 534-ല്‍ രാജാവായി. അഥാനാഗില്‍ഡിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരായ ബ്രൂണെചില്‍ഡിസിനെയും (Brunechildis) ഗാവ്‍ലെസ്വിന്‍തായെയും (Gravleswintha) വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചത് ഫ്രാങ്കുവര്‍ഗത്തിലെ സഹോദരന്‍മാരായിരുന്ന സിഗ്ബര്‍ട്ടും ചില്‍പെറിക്കും ആയിരുന്നു. അഥാനാഗില്‍ഡ് 547-ല്‍ നിര്യാതനായി. നോ: വിസിഗോത്തുകള്‍
