22-ാം മേളകര്‍ത്താരാഗമായ ഖരഹരപ്രിയയുടെ ജന്യം.
ആരോഹണം: സ രി ഗ മ ധ സ അവരോഹണം: സ ധ മ ഗ രി സ
രി, ധ എന്നിവ ഇതിലെ രാഗച്ഛായാസ്വരങ്ങളാണ്‌. ഷഡ്‌ജസ്വരത്തിനു പുറമേ തീവ്രഋഷഭം, കോമളഗാന്ധാരം, കോമളമധ്യമം, തീവ്രധൈവതം എന്നിവ ഈ രാഗത്തില്‍വരുന്ന സ്വരങ്ങളാണ്‌. സ ഗ രി, രി മ ഗ, ധ രി സ, ധ ഗ രി തുടങ്ങിയവ ഇതിലെ സവിശേഷപ്രയോഗങ്ങളാണ്‌. ഇത്‌ ഒരു സാര്‍വകാലികരാഗവും ഗമകവരികരാഗവുമാണ്‌. ഇതിന്റെ ആരോഹണാവരോഹണങ്ങളില്‍ നിഷാദം ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയാല്‍ ഇത്‌ ശ്രീരഞ്‌ജനി രാഗമായി മാറും.
